The Pioneers Statue

The Pioneers is a bronze sculpture in Central Park in Elmwood. It is one of several works by Lorado Taft, a sculptor with a national reputation for his monuments and fountains. He donated it under one condition - the city paid for its casting and mounting. It stands 10 feet tall and weighs 3,500 lbs. It depicts a pioneer family.

 

Annual Fall Festival

Fall Festival - Held in historic downtown Elmwood in September and is always on the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday following Labor Day. Live music, great food, garage, pedal tractor pulls, scarecrow building, and much more! Fun for the entire family!
