I closed on my first house today and had a great experience. My agent was Jennifer Simmons and she took such good care of me! She was very responsive and made the entire transaction very easy; she even made great recommendations for things to do around the area, as I'm from a different state. Cindy Carlock was my closing coordinator, and she was also very communicative and helpful. I would absolutely work with them again in the future if possible.

That’s when things started HAPPENING!!! He called me right away, he took note of the specifics I wanted. Kaitlyn Vest from the Adam Merrick Real Estate group is an absolute gem! She made the home buying process smooth and easy. She saved us hundreds of dollars asking if we were willing to use a home inspection from a couple of months earlier. Also using a recent $75 termite inspection for free was a bonus. Unable to view the home in person, she uploaded two walk-through videos of the home (inside and out). Later, she did another walk-through to confirm needed repairs were addressed, as well as sending a copy of receipt for foundational repairs. Recommending their in-house financing, EZ Mortgage, made the financing portion seamless. All in all, she kept us on track to close on time. We found Adam Merrick just by seeing billboards/ads around the area and went with them to buy a house after moving back to Central Illinois from Iowa. We couldn't be happier with our experience. My realtor's name was Nate Stear and I was very impressed with his knowledge and experience. I was feeling overwhelmed and he explained everything in a way I understood and really took the time to ease any anxiety I had about buying a house. I would definitely recommend him and Adam Merrick to a first time home buyer or a seasoned buyer, either way I think you would be very satisfied with the service they provide. Sold my home through Jack Duvall at Adam Merrick. I don't usually like salespeople but Jack is the kind that I got along with. He was not pushy (originally met with him a year before I sold, decided to hold off selling and he never bothered me until a full year later as I requested), and he was also optimistic while still staying realistic. Balanced those two things well because he did not get my hopes up, but stayed positive throughout. He's got a lot of experience and has definitely earned his title as a listing specialist. If I didn't move away from Peoria, I'd turn to him again for selling my home if ever needed. Would recommend him to any friend.

Matt was professional and always immediately responded to us. He did 2 videos one of the exterior and one of the interior. The video was of quality production. He explained how he was going to approach the layout so it was not confusing as he walked around. He thoroughly inspected every room from ceiling to floor. He showed and explained any areas of concern. It felt as if we were right there in the house walking with him. His video was the deciding factor of us putting in an offer on the house. We had a great experience working with Matt Meyer to purchase our home. We relocated from Arizona to Illinois on a fairly short timeline for work, and Matt was so generous and capable every step of the way. He provided extremely thorough virtual walk-throughs as we began our home search while out of state. He had to submit extra paperwork and jump through extra hoops for our relocation company, which he did kindly and efficiently. He was unfazed by our hectic schedule the short time we were in town for a house-hunting trip, and set up in-person showings and wrote up offers for us on short notice and at late hours. Our "viewing party" for in-person showings included four kids under age 5, and Matt calmly accommodated this too, taking time to talk with them and deftly helping them up and down stairs. Once we'd had an offer accepted, Matt truly went above and beyond throughout the inspection period - helping us understand the home inspection report, providing recommendations for reasonable repair requests, and coordinating contracting out said repairs. We closed on the house remotely; Matt did the final walk-through and attended closing in-person with the sellers, and then dropped off the keys when we made it into town. Through all of this, Matt was always easy to contact with any questions, and kept us in the loop despite being states away. We'd highly recommend working with Matt Meyer, especially for out-of-state relocation; moving a family cross-country can be stressful, and Matt did everything in his power to make it easier for us.

I’m honored to have worked with Matt Meyer.. My family and I moved to Peoria 4 years ago to restart a new chapter in our lives.
